Martin Ramos

Martin started drawing in his early twenties, mostly learning from the internet and talented friends and family. He taught himself graphic design, classical drawing and some frame by frame animation.

Before tattooing Martin worked as a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and an Animator for gaming and design studios around Sydney. One friendly and generous studio supported him to train at Computer Graphics Master Academy to sharpen his art skills, there he was schooled under Ron Lemen and Marco Buccio.

During that time Martin had friends in the tattoo industry that encouraged him to learn. At first he was very resistant having no interest in tattoos, but after some time a love for the craft was cultivated. While working in creative studios Martin learnt to tattoo on the side with help from his friends. After some hard work he was able to get a gig as an Artist with the lovely people at Parra Ink. A couple of months went by and he found a new home at Kaleidoscope where he now happily tattoos.

Martin’s favorite tattoo styles include but are not limited to Black and Grey, Micro Realism, Fineline, Blackwork, Ornamental, American Traditional and Neo Traditional.

His other loves include skateboarding with friends, playing video games, burritos and ducks.
