When he was 13 years old, Caio Munhoz began to work with graffiti, through which he met the well-known tattoo artists Julio Cubano. Later, Caio started to work with Cigano Aguillera and began learning at the Hepiderme Design Tattoo Shop studio, in his hometown in Brazil. At that time he was influenced to work in black and grey, this style is now a trademark throughout his works.
His other favourite styles are scripts, Traditional American and NeoTraditional, influenced by his other tattoo friends Teté and Bits. Caio feels very fortunate to have had this bunch of talented friends who have paved the way for him to develop his art. When Caio is not in the studio tattooing or drawing, you can find him surfing on one of the beaches of the eastern suburbs.
